The Nincompoop Faction Tuesday, March 19, 2002: Now it is time for me to BLOG. I just bought the new album by System of a Down and it is SLAMIN'. It's weird because it seems like it is about Sept. 11...I mean after the obvious "self rightous suicide" refrences aside. It's as if they were all recieving a dark muddled vision of the future...unknowing vessels, as it were. I wonder if others have made this connection...I should be a little more succinct about how it is like sept 11. Lines like "walk with me and turn the forest into sand", "somewhere between rightous silence and sleep", "sience has failed mother earth", as well as the song title "atwa", very much like "Ata", the name of the mastermind of the attacks.
